It’s that wonderful time of year where we reflect. 2023 was the most fun, but also came with a lot of lessons learned. I grew as a mother and have figured out what I want in terms of a career.
Last year, I pinned these self reflection questions from Pinterest and I liked the questions. I liked the set-up. It allows me to journal without rambling. I could talk forever on paper but I do not want to do that to you guys. Haha
I’ll leave it linked here! It’s already become an annual tradition! Soo let’s get started!
1. One Word to Describe the Year- Memorable

Better communication in my relationship
Lincoln’s sleeping habits have improved
4. What Did you Discover about yourself this Year– I’m a big people pleaser. I can’t say no, because I’m afraid of letting people down
5. Most Embarrassing Moment of the Year– My neck injury because I got it checked out but it was probably just from sleeping weird
6. Time You Laughed the Hardest this Year– Lincoln dancing to the crab rave video
7. Something You Learned to Do/Had Never Done Before– How to flip Lincoln’s car seat around to forward facing
8. Most Newsworthy Event– I have my own insurance. I’m an adult now. Woo hoo

12. Best Advice You Received this Year– “Babies can’t speak real words yet. The only real form of communication they have is to cry. And it’s our job to be there for them, to figure out why they’re crying. Even if it’s nothing serious or in the middle of the night, it still matters. It’s important to them”
13. An Achievement You are Proud of this Year– Taught Lincoln (with some help from Ryan) to self soothe himself to sleep in his own bed
Read a book for fun & not just for school
Also pretty proud at keeping up with a good hair care routine
14. Reminisce on One Great Compliment You Received this Year- “You’re way stronger than you give yourself credit for.” -Ryan
15. What or Whom You are Most Thankful for this Year- Lincoln, Ryan, family, friends, therapy

Here’s to a new year with new memories 🙂
