Today we narrow down some things that I’ve learned at 24 years old

Just another list to add to the digital journal

So should we get into it???

1. Saving money > spending money

2. I never thought I’d be so scared about motherhood until I became pregnant

3. I do not miss being pregnant

4. Although, I am disappointed with how unhappy I was during pregnancy

5. You never really appreciate your own mom until you become one

6. Making decisions for myself is hard but making decisions for Lincoln is even harder

7. Therapy IS helpful

8. Journaling keeps me sane

9. I’m glad I went back to working out

10. Work friends are the best of friends

11. I can be a little territorial of Lincoln

12. All parents make mistakes

13. A schedule is key to making things easier as a parent + kids need a routine

14. Make up free is so much better than pretending like I know how to apply make up

15. Embracing my curls because that is less time consuming and healthier on my hair

16. I get this kick to organize things but I run out of time/overwhelm myself with all this junk that doesn’t have a home

17. I horde things so I already can’t let go of Lincoln’s old things

18. Birth control pill >>> can’t believe I went so long without it + without a scheduled period

19. I love taking walks

20. Pushing a stroller is a workout esp. when going up/down a hill

21. I have to make lists or I won’t even attempt to get things done ie. while Lincoln is sleeping or playing

22. Getting small things done with a baby is a win

23. Kids do grow fast :/

24. Support from others is so important to have

love of my life
